SPRINGBROOK HOSPITAL is a 60 bed, JCAHO accredited, Florida licensed, community based, private not for profit psychiatric hospital. Located in Hernando County.

SPRINGBROOK HOSPITAL is one of  only two psychiatric hospital in the County and is the designated Baker Act receiving facility. Our mission is to improve the health and well being of individuals, families and communities impacted by mental illness, substance abuse and other related social problems. Through providing a continuously improving continuum of care that is cost-efficient, culturally competent including prevention, intervention, evaluation and treatment they will accomplish their mission.

Referrals are made by family members, physicians, clinicians, community agencies, ministers and the judicial system. Self-referrals are always welcome.

Programs are designed for individuals who are exhibiting one or more of the following symptoms:

Inability to Concentrate	Wandering or Confusion about Surroundings
Increased Anxiety	Use of Medication Leading to Dependence
Agitation	Use of Alcohol Leading to Dependence
Depression, Hopelessness or Isolation	Weight Loss
Restlessness, Disorientation or Hyperactivity	Loss of Appetite
Relationship Crisis
